I have a new line of wildcrafted certified organically grown Theraputic Herbal Tinctures!
I am using three of my faves, Nettle, Alfalfa and Dandelion every night in a hot tea. These herbs are chock full of Vitamins and minerals! No kidding! I have also combined for myself some other herbs for the nights I am not tired...Valerian Root and Hops! If I have a stress headache brought on by work I add Skullcap to it and I sleep like a healthy baby! How funny that so many of my friends and family have asked me to whip them up a tincture due to having sleep difficulties. Must be the day and age we live in?
Come visit me in Darrington at their Outdoor Air Craft event. I have a new banner that you cannot miss. Hope to see you!

Included on my label are my best seller "Trade Secret" Renascence Salve; Dead Sea Revival Bath Salts; Dead Sea Resurgence Mudd Pak; Genesis Dry Skin Creme; Lavender Mist Perfume Pillow & Room Spray; Breath Blast; Lucious Lip Salve.
My best selling "Trade Secret Renascence Salve" will be on sale as well, which can be purchased for $10 for four ounces. Less effective healing salves are being sold for over $25 per ONE ounce!
Starting June 6 (if it is not pouring down rain!) I will be intoducing organic medicinal tinctures under my label, SpiceMountains Therapeutic Herbals. These tinctures are made from wildcrafted and certified organically grown herbs. I have purchased these medicinal herbs from a woman owned and operated certified organic grower in Oregon. The medicinal properties of these herbs have been known for hundreds of years to give relief for many ailments to include headaches, colds, flu, coughing, stress, anxiety, insomnia, to name a few ailments, and some are quite helpful with helping us achieve a sense of well-being. I am anxious to introduce these tinctures and use them myself!
One of the Theraputic Herbal tinctures is California Poppy Tincture which promises to be a gentle remedy for anxiety, insomnia, nervousness and difficulty getting to sleep. This herbal tincture works as a pain killer as well as an anti-spasmodic, sedative and hypnotic. It is known to treat headaches and depression and has the reputation of being a non-addictive, and I might add, a legal alternative to the Opium Poppy, though less powerful. I will have it available during my Darrington Outdoor Craft Show appearances along with 15 other wonderful theraputic herbal tinctures!

This is my 2nd Blog. I would like to inform my readers as to how very important it is to meet our daily requirement of essential and trace minerals. Over a year ago a began using gourmet salts, which do not contain iodine, and I stopped eating Morton Salt, which has iodine. At the time I told myself to remember to find an alternative iodine source. A few weeks ago my chiropractor, cute Mike, told me, after I told him how awful I was feeling, how crusty my hands were getting, the painful headaches, and so many more scary symptoms, to have my thyroid checked.
That night my friend, Sharlene, called me and asked me if I had remembered to find an alternative iodine source yet. Ah, no! An adult needs to take in 150 mcg of iodine each day. In tincture terms, that is a mere one drop! I dropped 5 drops into my mouth and by the time I got to the freeway from the health store my sense of well being was increased a hundred fold!
Due to our plants and soils being nutrient depleted nowadays, we are not getting all the minerals we need. Mineral malnutrition runs from minor to serious health conditions such as loss of energy, premature aging, diminished senses, skin diseases, degenerative diseased like osteoporosis, heart disease, and cancer. In so many cases these conditions could be prevented with our daily consumption of our essential and trace minerals! Minerals are needed for the formation of our blood and bones, composition of body fluids, healthy nerve function, proper operation of the cardiovascular system etc.
For hundreds of years iodine has been known to prevent and treat enlargement of the thyroid gland (a goiter). Iodine stongly influences nutrient metabolism, nerve and muscle function, nail, hair, skin and tooth condition, and physical and mental development. It also is an effective antiseptic and water sterilizer.
Because of it's essential role in development, pregnant women should make sure they have sufficient intake of iodine for themselves and their babies, to prevent mental retardation and cretinism ( a form of dwardism in infants). Iodine can also be used as an anti-septic, used to inhibit the growth of bacteria and reduce the likelihood of infection. Iodine can be used as a douche (1 part iodine to 100 parts water) as it is effective against organisms, including trichomonas (intestinal worms), candida (a parasitic yeastlike fungus, a huge and dangerous health hazard to which many major diseases can at least, in part, be blamed), chlamydia (a sexaully transmitted infection) and vaginitis (inflammation of the mucus membranes lining the vagina).
Common effects of iodine deficiency are: weight gain, hair loss, listlessness, insomnia and some forms of mental retardation. Hypothyroidism and an iodine deficiency are associated with a higher incident of breast cancer. There is also evidence of an associateion between low thyroid function and Fibrocystic Breast Disease.
Since I do not ingest pills willingly, aside from buying my one ounce tincture of iodine, I also bought liquid essential & trace minerals and a liquid combination of calcium, magnesium and Vitaman D. I highly recommend you do the same. Essential & Trace minerals are most vital for our well being.
During the weekend of 4/5 & 4/6/08, I was @ the Skagit County Fairgrounds. I was selling my new line of products under the label SpiceMountain. My mission is to set out making products that benefit the well being of myself and others.
Most recently after months of research online I developed my own recipe for headaches caused by stress & anxiety. [My recipe is 10 herbs and spices I chose... just food ingredients!] The other night I was stressed to the max and was about to "take a pill" when I recalled that I had just finished my recipe for headaches! So, I rubbed my product on the nape of my neck, shoulders, wrists and my temples then sat down to watch mindless TV so I could be fresher for work the next day. Suddenly after 10 minutes (that is a guess) I realized that my neck and shoulders were relaxed which also meant that my headache went away for lack of having stress and anxiety to feed on! That night I fell immediately asleep and woke up the next morning in exactly the same position as I went to sleep in!
I have three folk testing out my new stress formula for me: my nurse friend, Beth, my sister, Suzie, and my newly found "Montana brother", Mike. I hope to get a report from each of them soon. My friend, Izzy, helped me during the event. She is so creative, smart, and quite a nice and loving woman. My sister, Suzie, her hubby, Moose (affectionately), my niece Jamie, and her best friend, James, (he is so cute, nice, helpful, thoughtful, etc, I really like him) arrived unannounced! It was a nice surprise.
